Blooming Baskets

April 19th, 2018

As we enter the second year of our landscape contract with Downtown Saint Louis Community Improvement District, we have a good year under our belt and an excellent understanding of what to expect.  We got a better jump on hanging basket production for 2018, as we planted up hundreds of big beautiful 16” diameter coco-lined decorative metal baskets.  As you can see in the photos, the mandevilla, dragonwing begonias, petunias, lantana and sweet potato vines are really going to town.  Companion planter boxes for the Old Post Office Plaza also are shown.

Our experienced, dedicated and knowledgeable crews will be installing these baskets and planters in a few weeks and maintenance and watering will begin immediately thereafter.  Last year, the flowers were outstanding and we anticipate even better results this year as we work hard to make our downtown environment more cheerful and bright.  We will post more pictures when the baskets are hung.
